Marion, Ohio – The Marion Ohio Weather Team has received word from the National Weather Service of Hazardous Conditions pending this afternoon and evening. Wind gusts to 45 mph are possible with the passage of the cold front. Locally higher gusts are possible with any rain showers that develop. Effected areas include Marion, Wyandot, Crawford, and Morrow Counties.
Delaware, Hardin, and Union Counties will also see strong and gusty winds develop this afternoon with the approach of a deepening low pressure system. Southwest winds will increase to 20 to 30 mph this afternoon, with wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph possible. The wind gusts will linger into the early evening hours.
Unsecured objects may be blown around and weak tree limbs may be knocked down.
