Marion, Ohio – The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a Wind Advisory to extend until 4 am Friday. A Wind Advisory is issued for sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph or gusts between 46 and 57 mph. Winds of this magnitude can cause minor property damage without extra precautions. Motorists should use caution especially motorists in high profile vehicles.
To add to the Windy Situations, Marion will see snow, mainly before midnight. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 30. With a total nighttime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible, per the National Weather Service.
Currently, Marion City Schools Kindergarten through eighth grade are scheduled to be out of school tomorrow for Parent/Teacher Conferences but we are keeping an eye on current conditions for any delays for the high school and other county schools.
